In Utrecht, the Netherlands, we have discussed the splendor and troubles of our current Europe, in all its non-economical aspects: culture, politics, and, of course, journalism. A diversified picture; from literature to classical music, from the borders of Europe to the leadership of the EU, from El País to NRC Handelsblad. Besides listening to the lectures, workshops were provided in five fields: photo journalism, debate and speech training, European arts, investigative reporting and storytelling, and online participatory journalism. We also attended Amsterdam for a cultural trip and have concluded the week celebrating Queens Day. The event took place in cooperation with Evens Foundation and Cafébabel.com.
